Price: $6.99 * Buy At: Walgreens * Size: 0.24 fl oz / 7 mL The RImmel Provocalips 16 HR Kiss Proof Lip Colour in Play With Fire is a classic cool toned red liquid lipstick. The Provocolips 16 HR Kiss Proof Lip Colour is a two step lip product. It comes in a thin tube with an opaque matte lip cream on one end and a gloss that locks in the color on the other. The Step 1 side applies very opaque and evenly to the lips. It dries to a matte finish pretty quickly and feels pretty sticky once it has dried. Because the product is so opaque, it can take a bit of time to make sure that the application looks good, but it is worth it to me. The Step 2 side is more like a gel than a gloss, since it has a pretty thick formula. I had to dip the wand back into the product three times to fully cover my lips. When worn together, it gives a balmy shine and it feels quite nice on the lips. It doesn't feel thick on the lips and the gloss is not sticky at all. After about an hour, the glossy shine is gone, but what is left behind is an intense lip stain that will not go away. I wore this product for eight hours before I noticed any type of fading, and I had to use makeup remover to get it off my lips. The color does not budge at all and lasts amazingly well through drinking and eating. I am extremely impressed by the longevity of this product and would suggest it to anyone, especially in darker or brighter shades like Play With Fire. XOX ♥

Price: $6.99 * Buy At: Walgreens * Size: 0.24 fl oz / 7 mL The Rimmel Provocalips 16 HR Kiss Proof Lip Colour in Make Your Move is a warm medium coral red liquid lipstick. The Provocolips 16 HR Kiss Proof Lip Colour is a two step lip product. It comes in a pretty thin tube with an opaque matte lip cream on one side and a gloss that locks in the color on the other. The Step 1 side applies very opaque and evenly to the lips. It dries to a matte finish pretty quickly and feels pretty sticky once it has dried. Unfortunately, I would not be able to wear the step 1 side by itself. Price: $8 * Buy At: Target * Size: 0.27 fl oz / 8 ml The Revlon ColorStay Moisture Stain in LA Exclusive is a semi-sheer cool toned pink glossy lip stain. The ColorStay Moisture Stains have an interesting formula, and I think the best way to describe them is as a gel gloss. The concept is similar to the L'Oreal Colour Caresse Wet Shine Stains, but I'm happy to find that the Revlon version is nothing like the L'Oreal version. I absolutely hated the L'Oreal version and thought they felt very uncomfortable on the lips. Moving on, it has a flexible shovel-shaped applicator which makes application easy. I don't notice much of a staining effect with this color, but I think it's only because the color is on the lighter side. When the glossiness on the lips fade, the product doesn't leave a gross feel on the lips and the color doesn't feather or bleed. XOX ♥

Price: $6.49 * Buy At: Target * Size: 0.095 oz The Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm in Mischievous is a soft orange jumbo lip pencil with a nice matte finish. The Matte Balms come in the classic jumbo lip pencil format, but the packaging of these are matte, which I think looks really nice. Like the original balm stains, these have a minty scent. Mischievous had a rather thin formula, and despite the matte finish, felt very moisturizing and balm like. Mischievous applied very evenly and isn't completely opaque, making this a great choice for people who are intimidated by orange lip colors. Mischievous gives off a softer, more salmon color in natural light or shade, and a much more orange color in sunlight. I really like both the color and formula of this product! In fact, in my opinion, this Matte Balm is more comfortable and moisturizing than the Lacquer Balm I tried (Coquette). XOX ♥
Price: $8.99 * Buy At: Walgreens * Size: 0.095 oz / 2.7 g I have been waiting for these to be released in the drugstores and I was so happy to find the display at Walgreens! Revlon's new take on their popular Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains is the new Lacquer & Matte Balms. I wasn't sure if I would like the Matte Balms, so I just picked up one of the shades of the Lacquer Balms. The shade I picked up is Coquette, a yellow-toned pink with some very small pieces of glitter. The Revlon Lacquer Balms are a jumbo lip pencil that is a twist up format. The packaging of the Lacquer Balms is the color of the product, which I really like. The packaging format and the size of the Lacquer Balms is the same as the original Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains. The Lacquer Balms also have a similar minty scent that the Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains have. The only difference between the two kinds is that the Lacquer Balms have a very reflective package. The glitter in Coquette is very small and not very visible on the lips, so if you are not a fan of glittery lips (like me) I wouldn't worry about this one. The glitter does leave the slightest bit of a gritty feel, but not enough to steer someone away from Coquette. Application of Coquette is consistent with the original Balm Stains and I don't think that it is that much glossier than the originals either. What I love about the Revlon Balm Stains is that they feel very thin and moisturizing and are perfect products for people who don't like the feel of lipsticks or glosses. Coquette is not high maintenance and can easily be applied on the go with out a mirror. XOX ♥
Price: $3.29 * Buy At: Walgreens * Size: 0.095 oz / 2.7 g The Jordana Twist & Shine Moisturizing Balm Stain in (06) Cranberry Crush is a warm, berry colored jumbo lip pencil. First I would like to mention that the Jordana Twist & Shine Balm Stains do not have a minty smell like a lot of jumbo lip pencils and in fact, they don't really have a scent at all. Cranberry Crush applies very smooth, especially when over a lip balm. They are moisturizing and quite lightweight, giving almost a lip balm-like feel on the lips. They provide a little bit of shine, but can easily be layered with a gloss to increase the glossiness. The pigmentation of Cranberry Crush is spot on, you can get a nice berry color when built up, but if you prefer a more subtle color with a stained look, you can just dab the product on and rub it in. Price: $7.49 * Buy At: Target * Size: 0.095 oz / 2.7 g The Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Cherish is a bright, but still sheer, cool toned pink jumbo lip pencil. The format of the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains is a plastic pencil that twists up and doesn't need to be sharpened. These balm stains have a fairly thin formula that feels more like a lip balm on the lips than a lipstick. I personally really like this, because I am frequently bothered by being able to feel products when they are on my lips. The Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains are moisturizing for 2 to 3 hours and then fade out to a stain where you can apply a chapstick over it to keep the color, but bring back the moisture. As far as Cherish as a color, I absolutely love it! I am drawn to cool toned pinks that are still somewhat subtle and Cherish is definitely my kind of color. XOX ♥
Price: $3.29 * Buy At: Walgreens * Size: 0.095 oz / 2.7 g The Jordana Twist & Shine Moisturizing Balm Stain is Jordana's take on the popular lip crayon trend. The shade Tropical Frenzy (03) is a fairly bright fuchsia pink & Candied Coral (04) is an orange coral. Tropical Frenzy and Candied Coral are pretty pigmented, especially if you build them up. They don't really have a smell, which I prefer over the minty smell that a lot of lip crayons have. These balm stains feel nice and light on the lips and give about 2 hours of wear before losing the gloss and turning into a stain. The only downside these products have is that they fade in the middle of your lips, leaving you with a thick lip liner look. Both Tropical Frenzy and Candied Coral appear brighter and more vibrant in the sunlight than in the shade or indoors. Other than the fading in the middle of the lips, I have nothing bad to say about these balm stains and I think that they are a great option for a lip crayon versus one that's more expensive like the Revlon Balm Stains.
XOX ♥ Price: $5 * Buy At: Walgreens * Size: 0.18 oz / 5.5 mL Called Apocalips in the UK, the Show Off Lip Lacquer is a new liquid lipstick line from Rimmel. The shade I have to share today is Luna. Luna is a glossy, soft peachy apricot lip color that is super pigmented. The application of the Show Off Lip Lacquer was like applying paint to your lips (similar to the OCC Lip Tar's application). The wand has a scoop in it allowing it to hold more product which makes applying it really easy. As for the smell, it's one of those cherry-watermelon scents. It's not a really heavy scent, though, if you are one who is bothered by product scents. The wear on Luna was about 3 to 5 hours on me. I found that it lost most of the glossiness in about an hour, but then creates more of a lip stain look.
